Varmints

Bobcat. Once threatened, they have since bounced back with their population being healthy in the Ozarks and are monitored as furbearers. Hunting is allowed within the areas they inhabit.

Coyote. Like other varmints and predators, encroachment and hunting decimated their numbers years ago. Through various conservation programs they were stabilized and their numbers are slowly increasing.

Fox. Both red and gray fox were once threatened, but are now abundant in the Ozark Mountains. They are very popular with hunters in the region.
